Your own channel, next to a marketplace

Platea is a subscription your restaurant pays. A marketplace app is a charge on each order it brings you. This page puts every cost category on one screen so you can compare them honestly.

No marketplace is named, priced or ranked here. Their terms change, they differ by city and by restaurant, and the only version that matters is the one in your own agreement.

The cost categories, side by side

Five categories cover what an order can cost you. The right-hand column says who sets each one on a marketplace order, not what they charge, because that lives in your agreement rather than on this page.

  • Diner service charge

Yours to set, and itemisedIf you add one it appears as its own line to the diner before they pay. It is never folded into another line.
    A marketplace app
Set by the marketplaceCharges added to the diner's total on their channel are theirs to define and disclose.
  • Application commission per order

    Your own channel
0% Platea application commissionThis describes the application-fee policy only. The four categories above are the other costs of an order, and they are disclosed on this same screen.
    A marketplace app
Set by the marketplaceWhatever rate applies to you is the one written in your agreement, not one quoted here.

Any figure for a marketplace belongs in your own agreement with them. This page deliberately carries none: a rate quoted here would be out of date, wrong for your city, or both.

Do the arithmetic on your own numbers

The example below is a calculator, not a claim. It starts empty on purpose: nothing is computed until you enter figures you can verify.

  • Your volume, your averages

Monthly orders and average order value come from your own records. A month that was not typical will not give a typical answer.

  • No rates are pre-filled

Commission and processing fields start blank. A default here would read as a statement about somebody else's pricing, and this page is not in a position to make one.

  • No saving is promised

The result is the difference between two figures you entered. It is not a claim about what any restaurant saves, including yours.

Where to find your numbers

Commission rate: your marketplace agreement or a recent statement. Processing rate and per-order fee: your payment processor's terms. Orders and average order value: your own sales reports.

What you keep either way

Cost is one axis. The other is what stays with your restaurant once the order is finished.

A branded path of your own

Your storefront lives at one branded path on this instance, under its configured address. One path per restaurant: stable, printable, and the address your diners come back to.

The diner record, and its limits

Orders placed on your own channel produce a diner record you hold. Marketing consent is separate, explicit, and re-checked at send time.

Diner records arrive with Operación; email campaigns are a Grupo capability. Campaigns are email.

The kitchen and the fulfilment

The kitchen display, the delivery assignment and the print path are part of the product, not a separate integration you assemble. A paid order becomes an active ticket, and the board recovers its full active set after a disconnection.

Kitchen display

Yours, whichever channel

An order arriving from any channel you run lands on the same board, in the same sequence, with the same recovery behaviour.

Compare it against your own agreement
